How to Run GeoSpot Mobile Web Service for Verizon Wireless

If you have a Verizon Wireless mobile phone (other than Blackberry and PDAs), you can access GeoSpot service by launching Mobile Web 2.0 and setting GeoSpot as a favorite website. After GeoSpot website is defined as a favorite, you can easily access it anytime simply from menu choices. On your phone, do the following:

  1. Go to GET IT NOW

  2. Select Get News & Info (option 4)

  3. Select Favorites (option 9)

  4. Click on ADD FAVORITES

  5. Type in "GeoSpot" and "www.geospot.com"

  6. Click "GeoSpot" from the Favorites to use anytime you need it!

For Blackberry or other PDAs, please follow manufacture's instructions for launching web browser.

Requirements:

GeoSpot Mobile Web works on any Verizon Wireless phones that support Mobile Web 2.0. But if your phone's web browser is an Optimized Web, make sure to turn off (uncheck) the option Optimzed Web Service ON

If you have not used Mobile Web 2.0, please be aware that you may need to subscribe to one of Verizon's plans including Mobile Web access. It is possible that Verizon Wireless may let you have access without subscribing to a plan, but may charge you ad hoc. Please visit Verizon Wireless website for latest policies and plan availability.
